The LaCie 2big RAID includes dual-drives than can be configured in either JBOD, RAID 0 (striping) or RAID 1 (mirroring.) The combination of 7200 RPM drives and Thunderbolt 3 interface means that data transfers are very fast. Only a single Thunderbolt 3 is included, so limits the ability to daisy-chain drives. The drives look smart and include a well ventilated aluminum case. A 5 year waranty is included.
